michaelbain has successfully completed a website and e-commerce project for delifresh.

The striking design of the project was conceived and implemented by Rebellious (aka Anja).

The delifresh online shop displays all their products, allows the visitor to build a basket of products to buy and allows the visitor to check out. Site visitors do not need to be logged in to shop (but if they do register their details are remembered on future purchases) and can choose to pay later by EFT or in real-time with a credit card.

Built on the popular WordPress platform and also utilising the VCS payment module for WP e-Commerce plugin,  the site owner can manage all aspects of the e-commerce solution through an admin interface.

The site also sends invoices to buyers on confirmation of payment, purchase orders to each supplier involved in the basket of goods and a waybill to the courier. The whole process is automated.

Meet Wendy and Stefan:  http://www.delifresh.co.za/about/

Why don’t you pop in and have a look at all the delectable deli products.

michaelbain has successfully completed a website and e-commerce project for Equigifts.

The site displays all the Equigifts products, allows the visitor to build a basket of products to buy and allows the visitor to check out and send their order to Equigifts.

Built on the popular WordPress platform, the site owner can manage all aspects of the e-commerce solution through an admin interface and can mamange products, images, sales, discounts and the like from this interface.

As per the Equigifts website:

EQUIGIFTS was started by my love and passion for horses and the associated sports that revolve around the Horse Industry in general. I started the company in the middle of 2001, and it began with the idea for a friend’s birthday gift. The demands for the varied gifts that i had made and sourced snowballed and culminated into what is currently known today as “EQUIGIFTS”.

We aim to service the entire equestrian industry, whether it be Show Jumping, Polo, Dressage, Cross Country, Showing or any other equestrian affiliated event. We carry an exceptional range for all age groups. Our products are varied in colour, shape, design and style!

Thank you pixelmagic, for the site theme and design.

michaelbain (in conjuction with pixelmagic) is happy to present another successfully completed web project.

Rapidwave had very specific style, landing page, user interaction, navigation and content requirements with regards to their web presence and as such michaelbain developed and delivered the following for Rapidwave:

  • pixelmagic effectively translated Rapidwave’s corporate identity into a design that was implemented as a WordPress template.
  • The WordPress content management system was installed and extensively modified (by way of a custom template and custom plugins) to meet their needs.
  • A custom landing / home page was developed (thanks pixelmagic for the design) with JavaScript and DHTML functionality that simply, but effectively gives the user of the site an overview and a jump-off point.
  • A custom navigation system (incorporating a navigation bar listing sub sections of the currently viewed page, block-image navigation with remembered history and breadcrumbs) was developed. These were developed and implemented as custom WordPress plugins.
  • A custom contact form was developed as a WordPress plugin.
  • The site frames in their existing offering where their clients can log into a back-end management system.
  • The client can manage their own content without any special skills or tools, online, in real-time.
  • All of this was tied together effectively to form a neat and usable user experience.
